E’ una miniserie ispirata all’omonimo romanzo di Stephen King, “La Storia di Lisey”, girata da Pable Lorrain e scritta dallo stesso Stephen King che ne ha scritto anche il romanzo. La serie è interpretata principalmente da Julianne Moore e Clive Owen

TRAMA:
La serie racconta della storia di Lisey Landon, appena rimasta vedova, il marito, essendo uno scrittore famoso è purtroppo è rimasto ucciso da un fanatico ammiratore, Jim Dooley, e dopo la morte del marito Lisey trova dei manoscritti che però decide di non pubblicare, cosi Jim si mette a perseguitare la donna fino ad arrivare ad aggredirla in casa sua

PERSONAGGI:

Julianne Moore/Lisey Landon: E’ la protagonista della storia e moglie di Scott. Lisey appena muore il marito scopre dei manoscritti non pubblicati e decide di non procedere a farlo per non guadagnare sulla morte del marito, ma purtroppo la sua determinazione nel proteggere la memoria del marito diventa pericolosa

Clive Owen/Scott Landon: Talentuoso scrittore e marito di Lisey, purtroppo viene ucciso da un fanatico ammiratore durante uno dei suoi eventi, ma i suoi manoscritti non sarà l’unica eredità che lascerà alla moglie, ma bensì un autentico mondo fantastico

Jennifer Jason Leight/Darla Debusher: E’ la sorella maggiore di Lisey e purtroppo ha problemi sentimentali con suo marito per il quale tenta il suicidio per averla tradita. Dopo la sua morte Scott gli appare come spirito per aiutarla a superare il trauma facendola cadere in uno stato catatonico

Dane Dehaan/Jim Dooley: E’ l’antagonista della storia che comincia a perseguitare Lisey dopo che la morte del marito a causa per libri non pubblicati. Jim arriva ad aggredirla in casa, ma la sua ossessione lo porterà nell’oblio

Joan Allen/Amanda Debusher: E’ la sorella minore di Lisey che dopo il suo matrimonio ebbero molte divergenze a causa del suo stile di vita, ma per fortuna dopo l’aggressione di Jim Dooley mise da parte l’invidia per aiutare la sorella

Tutti gli episodi sono sceneggiati da Stephen King ed è stata prodotta da JJ Abrams e Bad Robot Production, cosi nel 2019 Pable Lorrain ha firmato per dirigere la miniserie

LISEY’S STORY

It is a miniseries inspired by Stephen King’s novel of the same name, “The Story of Lisey”, directed by Pable Lorrain and written by Stephen King himself who also wrote the novel. The series mainly stars Julianne Moore and Clive Owen

PLOT:
The series tells the story of Lisey Landon, who has just been widowed, her husband, being a famous writer, was unfortunately killed by a fanatic admirer, Jim Dooley, and after her husband’s death Lisey finds some manuscripts which, however, she decides not to publish, so Jim begins to persecute the woman until he attacks her in her home

CHARACTERS:

Julianne Moore/Lisey Landon: She is the protagonist of the story and Scott’s wife. As soon as her husband dies, Lisey discovers unpublished manuscripts and decides not to proceed with it to watch over her husband’s death, but unfortunately her determination to protect her husband’s memory becomes dangerous

Clive Owen / Scott Landon: Talented writer and husband of Lisey, unfortunately he is killed by a fanatical admirer during one of his events, but his manuscripts will not be the only legacy he will leave his wife, but rather an authentic world fabulous.

Jennifer Jason Leight / Darla Debusher: She is Lisey’s older sister and unfortunately she has sentimental problems with her husband for which she attempts suicide for cheating on her. After her death Scott of her appears to him as spirit of her to help her overcome the trauma of her causing her to fall into a catatonic state

Dane Dehaan / Jim Dooley: It is the antagonist of the story who begins to haunt Lisey after her husband’s death due to her unpublished books. Jim comes to attack her in her house, but her obsession will bring him into oblivion

Joan Allen / Amanda Debusher: She is Lisey’s younger sister who had many differences after her marriage due to her lifestyle but luckily after Jim Dooley’s assault she put the envy aside to help his sister

PRODUCTION
All episodes are scripted by Stephen King and was produced by JJ Abrams and Bad Robot Production, so in 2019 Pable Lorrain signed on to direct the miniseries
